ENAMEL ON COPPER

Reworked enamel is mounted on a wood painting panel utilizing spacers of various heights between the pieces and the panel.

To recycle materials “discarded” paintings are cut on the bench shear into smaller rectangular pieces before additional enamel is added.

A clear “flux” coat of enamel is applied to the cut pieces and then set on top of the kiln to allow the adhesive to dry before firing.

Ready to collage; reworked pieces of my “discarded” enamel on copper.
